Moving forward with the Blog aspect I've decided to archive our travels and events over the past year or so here.... June 2016: Proposed trip to the Mosel Valley in Germany cancelled at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. An alternate trip to Scotland hastily arranged and what a great week it was. Wall-to-wall sunshine (in contrast to central Europe's weather!); strange how these things work out.....'omens' apparently! Two nights at the Falkirk Wheel (£10 parking charge per night payable at the Visitor Centre). Easy cycle ride to the Kelpies along the canal path from the Wheel. Trip through the Trossachs and Great Glen upto Morvich Caravan Club Site. Visit to SkyeSkyns at Waternish on the Isle of Skye. Overnight camping at Sligachen Campsite. No booking required. £7.50 per adult per night. £5 per night electric. Full facilities. Trip to Pitlochry and the Salmon ladders.
